What are the hats made of?
--The outer material of our hats is made from different materials depending on the style. Please see the individual listing of each for details.
--The inner satin lining is made of 100% Polyester sewn into a satin weave.
What exactly is Satin?
--Satin is a smooth, glossy fabric, produced by a weave in which the threads of the warp are caught and looped by the weft only at certain intervals. It can be made from several different types of materials.

Why use satin as a lining?
--Satin has been used for centuries by women to wrap their hair in to protect it and help keep it moisturized. Now we have the benefit of combining satin in a stylish hat!
How is the satin lining going to help my hair?
--Satin helps by protecting your hair while sleeping from the harsh fabric of your pillowcase. When you sleep at night without wearing a wrap or in this case a hat, the friction of your head/hair rubbing against your pillowcase causes breakage and tangles. Satin also helps to lock in moisture, and can also protect your hair from the harsh weather conditions.
Will this work for my hair type?
--These hats work for any ethnicity and all hair types.
Is this hat designed just to wear while I am sleeping?
--No! You can wear this anytime day or night. Is is functional and stylish. Here are a few different times you might want to wear yours:
- At night while sleeping
- With curlers
- To extend your blowout
- While it's raining
- During harsh weather conditions
- While you are camping
- While doing yard work
- When you don't have time to fix your hair and need to go out
- To complement an outfit
- Anytime you would normally wear a hat
How should I take care of my product?
--This is a premium product, and should be taken care of like any fine garment you might own. Wash in cold water on a delicate cycle with like colors. Lay flat or hang to dry.
--Adjustable Drawstring caps should be washed in a garment bag to prevent the strings from getting wrapped around other items in your washer.
Will anything bad happen if I put it in the dryer?
--Your item may shrink if dried in the dryer. It will also cause the elastic in the band to wear out more quickly, and it won't fit properly.
Should I wash it before wearing?
--Yes! The satin may bleed slightly, so it is best to wash it before wearing it.
Can I wear oils or conditioning cremes with the caps?
--We recommend wearing a processing (or shower) cap underneath if you will be using oils or cremes. Again, this is a premium product, and oils and cremes can stain the outer fabric and you may not be able to wash it out.
What can I do to keep my item in good condition?
--Follow the care instructions and all the tips above to keep your item looking good, and to help it last longer.
How long will this these last?
--With everyday use you may start to see some loosening of the elastic band after approximately 6 months. That's a rough estimate, and again depends on how often you wear it and how you take care of it. With proper care it can last longer.
What are the care instructions for the scrunchies?
--Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with like colors. We recommend using a small "delicates" bag so it doesn't get "lost" in your washing machine. Lay flat to dry.
What are the care instructions for the T-Shirt Towels?
--These are 100% cotton and can be washed like any cotton garment.
Can men wear the hats?
--These elastic band version of the hats are designed for the average size female head, so they may be tight on a mans head. The adjustable version stretches up to 25", so this would be great for any size head. Even children!

Prices vary depending on destination. The shipping charges are automatically calculated and go by USPS First Class International Mail charges.
Will International Shipments have any custom's charges?
--We are not responsible for any custom's fees your country may impose. We label all international packages with the item description and cost of goods.
Do you have a retail location?
Currently we do not have a retail location. The only place you can purchase our products is on this website or on Amazon. If you see one for sale anywhere else it is counterfeit, and not an actual Satin Life product.
Return Policy
Due to health and safety guidelines we no longer accept returns. If your item is defective, please let us know and we will either send a replacement or a refund.
